‎ About the opportunity As (Senior) Manager Direct Tax Compliance & Processes, you will act as a trusted business partner to management, driving efficiency and effectiveness across tax compliance, accounting, and reporting activities. You will play a key role in enhancing QIAGEN's tax compliance and governance framework, supporting our tax compliance insourcing strategy, and advancing tax quality and change management initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while contributing to tax reporting, compliance, process optimization, and strategic tax projects across the DACH region. Your tasks Further develop and enhance the Tax Compliance Management System while proactively supporting tax governance, tax quality, and change management initiatives. Support annual tax reporting at both legal entity and group level, including

the calculation of tax positions and preparation of tax-related disclosures under US GAAP and local GAAP requirements. Manage direct tax return and compliance processes in collaboration with external advisors across the DACH region. Oversee additional tax compliance obligations within the DACH region and maintain the tax compliance calendar. Manage inbound and outbound withholding tax matters, including reporting and filing requirements, while identifying and implementing process improvements. Serve as a key business partner for Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Operations, and other internal stakeholders on tax-related matters. Support tax audits, tax planning activities, and corporate tax restructuring projects. Your profile University degree in Business Administration, Economics (with a focus on Tax and/or Accounting), Tax Administration (Finanzwirt) or a comparable qualification. At least

5 years of relevant professional experience gained within an international advisory firm (e.g., Big 4) and/or the tax function of a multinational organization. Strong understanding of direct tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax reporting requirements. Proven ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy, diligence, and quality awareness. Experience with Microsoft Office applications as well as tax and ERP systems such as DATEV and SAP. Professional proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
